Claude was the second of four children and the only son.
1/ His elder sister was Mary Amanda Bennett who was born on 1st May 1913 in Westminste. Mary married Alexander Cochrane in 1932 in Brentford, Middlesex and they had three sons who were:
Ian born in 1933 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire and who married Sylvia
Neil B F Cochrane in 1935 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire and who marrieed Patricia
Malcolm F Cochrane in 19139 in Amersham, Buckinghamshire and who married Deirdre
2/ Ernest Claude in 1915 and who married Daphne Kerven Holliday
3/ Dorothy M Bennett in 1916. Dorothy married Gerald Allingham Magnus (1913-1982) in 1940 and died in 2010
4/ Caroline (known as Babs) on 9th April 1919. Babs married William Herridge in North London and had one daughter, Gillian in 1946 in Brentford. Gillian married John Park and died in January 2022.
